What is the “Homes by Mahria” concept?

Don’t know where to start with a design project? This concept allows you to shop to a plan, allowing you to control the spend & product. Homes by Mahria Inspiration Boards will help you create a space that is uniquely yours.

What is an ispiration board?

An inspiration board brings your vision to life. It pulls together a design for your space so you can then go make it a reality.

What is Homes by Mahria process?

Fill out the below questionnaire, a video call will be set up to chat about your space, you pick/pay for the package that works best for you. You will receive your completed space via email & an “inspiration board” via mail.

What is the turn around time?

After the initial Facetime chat & from the day payment is received, you will get your information via email within 4-6 days. You will receive a hard copy board within 7-10 days.

Do you offer revisions?

No revisions are offered at this time. This is a guide to get you started, if at any time you would like to replace a suggested item GO FOR IT!

I do suggest staying with the color, material family & shape of suggested items.

What if I don’t like what you the ideas you send me?

This should not be a problem: a detailed questionnaire has been filled out, a video call has taken place & your space has been discussed in detail.

Can I give this as a gift?

YES, ABSOULTLEY! This is a great gift to give anyone who is inspired by design and in need of a room make over. Reach out via email to purchase a gift card. The recipient of your gift card would then follow the steps to make their space “Uniquely theirs” – Great as a new home gift, baby shower gift, high school or college graduate, dorm room, birthday or Christmas. This concept is perfect for any owner or renter!

What is the background of the designer?

Mahria Heller holds a Bachelor Degree form the University of Alabama in Interior Design. She has worked in the design industry in various roles for over 25yrs. What inspired “Homes by Mahria” was she has been a licensed Real Estate agent for 10 years, and would do this for clients as a closing gift. After many requests from people other than real estate clients, Homes by Mahria was started.

Once I create a space that is “Uniquely mine” if I have a question about placement or product is that included in price?

Tips for Taking Great Photos of Your Space

Stand at each corner of the room and aim the camera at eye level and toward the opposite corner.
Take close ups of any special details.
Take two shots of the ceiling (one from each far side of the room)
Take two shots of the floor (one from each far side of the room).
